Got sent these crisps today from Walkers as part of its jingoistic new ‘support your favourite’ campaign.
Each flavour is a stereotypical dish or product from various countries. I tried Dutch Edam Cheese (tasted of cheese crisps, not Dutch cheese crisps specifically), and other flavours include Brazilian Salsa, Italian Spag Bol and Japanese Teriyaki Chicken.
Walkers, it seems, is sneakily asking you to choose your favourite country. When the votes are in the least poplar nation gets nuked… or something.
Anyway, thought this worthy of the cricket blog as in a month or so the lovely Sultans tea ladies will be making some tricky snack related decisions themselves when they work out what to serve us and the oppo for our tea.
Any suggestions, boys?

We had them sent in too. Don’t even go near the garlic baguette – which is supposed to represent France but I thought would be more of an Italian flavour. But I think we should bomb Norway, just because.

I’ll be sure to let the Walkers team here know that this activity has set the internet abuzz with crisp related chat.
